Growing up in an artistic environment allowed Ketki Singh to develop her keen sense of lyricism in music from a tender age.
Has learnt under renowned maestros like Smt. Manikuntala Bhowmick, Smt Rekha Pandey & Smt Madhup Mudgal has traveled and performed extensively with the celebrated Gandharva Mahavidyalay Choir around the world in USA, UK & Bhutan.
Awarded scholarships by Centre of Cultural resources & Training and Sahitya Kala Parishad, she is currently pursuing advanced training in Hindustani classical music.
Besides performing, lecturing she is also writing reseach papers on Indian classical music. She aso teaches at Sangeet Vidya Niketan.
Whatever you listen and if it sounds good to your ears and hits your soul that is music. Where Indian or Western, there is no comparison. Music is music. It never bounds you, rather give you wings to fly. So be a versatile musician and keep flying.
